PUSSER'S "tin cups" are found just about everywhere 'round the world where one finds water and a boat. We've been selling these for 25 years; it was one of the first PUSSER'S branded products we launched at our little PUSSER'S PUB & CO. STORE in Road Town, Tortola in 1979. There's a long history behind these things.
In the late 18th century, the Royal Navy started issuing enamel mugs like these to their jack tars (sailors) from which they drank their daily ration of PUSSER'S RUM and Grog. Each mug has been hand decorated and the design permanently fired with colored glass inks into the white enamel surface of the mug. They are guaranteed to not wear off. The decor of the PUSSER'S Mugs celebrates the PUSSER'S tie to the naval traditions and the sea in which PUSSER'S played a major role as the father of 'grog'. PUSSER'S mugs are indeed colorful, durable and scratch resistant, although after knocking around for a few years they may get a chip or two that adds to their character. They hold 16 fl ozs - one pint - a good portion for any drink from water to coffee to a PUSSER'S PAINKILLER!
